How it works

How a claim moves, one stage at a time

Every claim is different, but most follow the same road. Here is what happens, and what we need from you, at each stage.

  1. 01

Step 1: You call, we listen

Tell us what happened. We ask a few questions, say what we see, and tell you honestly whether we can help.

  2. 02

Step 2: You get care, we open the file

See a doctor first, and keep going. We request your records and bills and ask the insurers to send their questions to us.

  3. 03

Step 3: We build the proof

Photos, the police report, witness names, pay stubs and your doctors' notes: what an insurer will want to see.

  4. 04

Step 4: We wait for a clear picture

We don't set a figure while you are still healing. Once your doctors can say what recovery looks like, we add up the whole loss.

  5. 05

Step 5: We send the demand

A written package goes to the insurer. If the answer isn't fair, we talk about filing a lawsuit, and you decide.

  6. 06

Step 6: Bills, liens and your share

Before you are paid, medical bills and liens are settled or reduced from the recovery. You see every number first.

Your part

Your side of the work

Not much, but it matters. These few habits make a claim stronger and your weeks calmer.

If something changes, a new symptom, a letter, a call from a stranger, tell us the same day. We would rather hear it twice.

  • Go to every appointment

  • Tell your doctors about every symptom

  • Keep a short diary of pain and missed work

  • Send us letters from insurers before you answer

  • Keep the crash off social media

The first call is where it starts. We'll listen, then tell you what we see.
